Q. Will the icons fade?
A. We use automotive grade inks and clear coat in our manufacturing process, the image is virtually the same as the finish on your car. The answer is best explained in how well an automotive finish withstands the enviroment where you live and how well you take care of the finish, i.e. regularly cleaning and applying a quality automotive wax-sealer.
Q. Can they be used indoors?
A. Definitely.
Q. Should I put my icon behind glass or Plexiglas for added protection?
A. No. We recommend that the surface of the icon be exposed to the environment. The glass or Plexiglas will create added heat stress and could cause problems.
Q. How should I clean my outdoor icon?
A. Use a mild soap with warm water and a soft cloth or sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads.
